Our First Mensiversary

Mensiversary: A day that is an exact month since the occurrence of a significant event.

Wow! What a month it has been!

On May 29th, just four weeks after we stood on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond and said ‘I Do’ ourselves, we launched Wedding Diaries & Bride Diaries.

The birthplace of the idea was Polignano de Mare, a beautiful small seaside town in Puglia, on the final night of our ‘mini moon’.

The bottle of wine was still half full (always positive vibes!) when

Hannah had her latest brainwave - why don’t we combine our love for content creation/photography and weddings and dive into the wedding industry? Many long busy

days building our website, setting up our business and developing a ‘look’ commenced.

To kick-start our venture, we launched a competition. We were blown away by the amount of entries we received on both Instagram and TikTok.

The craziest month ever began. We were overwhelmed with requests and bookings. We jumped into our first wedding just one week after we launched which was at the stunning Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk where the new Mr & Mrs Forrest celebrated over three days. It was incredible! Aside from the flowing champagne, great music, glamour and hilarious speeches, it was great to meet other impressive suppliers in the industry.

Other milestones have included a booking for our first international wedding, Hannah hitting 10k on TikTok and venues adding us to their recommended supplier lists already!

A huge thank you to everyone that has shown interest in our new venture so far, with your questions and enquiries, likes, comments and shares. This first month is undoubtably one we’ll never forget for so many reasons.
